Buying guide
Why delivered price matters.
Start with the actual basket
For a one-bottle order, compare the item price available to you, add the delivery charge for your chosen method and include any unavoidable fees. Do not count a discount you are not eligible to use.
Offer A: £52 bottle + £4.95 delivery = £56.95. Offer B: £55 bottle + free delivery = £55. In this example, Offer B is £1.95 cheaper overall even though its item price is higher.
Keep conditional prices separate
Membership prices, new-customer codes, minimum baskets and voucher-only prices should be clearly labelled. If a price requires buying something else, compare the resulting basket rather than calling delivery “free”.
Use price per ml carefully
Unit price can help compare different bottle sizes, but the lower price per millilitre is not automatically the better purchase. A larger bottle still requires more cash upfront and may not suit someone trying a fragrance for the first time.
Recheck before payment
Delivery charges, stock and promotions can change. Confirm the final total at checkout rather than assuming an earlier comparison remains current.
